Dylan Stewart

Dylan Stewart is the Senior Commercial and Technology Manager for GE’s Digital Instrument Transformer product line.  He has global responsibility for Digital Instrument Transformer Sales, Marketing and Product Management. He received a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering with Distinction from the University of Alberta.  He started working on Digital Instrument Transformers in 2003 when he joined NxtPhase T&D.  In 2009, he joined Areva T&D’s Digital Instrument Transformer group.  As of 2015, the Digital Instrument Transformer group is part of GE’s Grid Solutions business. Dylan is active in developing guidelines and standards related to next generation substation equipment through his participation in IEEE PSRC, IEC TC38 and CIGRE A3.

In his spare time, Dylan enjoys hiking, boating, fishing and skiing.

Farel Becker

Farel Becker was born in Pottsville, PA. Farel received his Bachler degree from Kings College in 1980 and MBA from Rochester Institute of Technology in 1991.  Since joining the Siemens Power Engineering graduate training program, he has held various Sales, Marketing and Product Management positions. Currently he is responsible for the substation automation product management at Siemens Digital Grid.

Farel loves nature and in his spare time, he enjoys fishing, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.

Craig Preuss

Craig Preuss is a system architect at Black & Veatch working in substation and distribution automation for 20 years. He is secretary of the IEEE Power and Energy Society (PES) Power System Communications and Cybersecurity committee and a member of the Power System Relaying and Control Committee. He is a member of numerous subcommittees and working groups.

Outside of work and IEEE volunteering, he enjoys running, hiking, biking, kayaking, white water rafting, a really good brew pub, supporting his two high school children, and volunteering as a Lutheran teacher and guide for the many youth of
his local community.

Catherine Dalton

Catherine Dalton is a Strategic Account Executive at EPRI. She has broad experience in the electric utility industry. She is a Senior Member of IEEE, and an active participant in IEEE PES PSRC. She has a Master’s degree in electrical engineering (Ohio State University,) and a MBA from the University of Dayton. Previously she worked for American Electric Power, Basler Electric, SEL and Beckwith Electric.

Cathy loves outdoor activities, and in her spare time she enjoys hiking, and exploring different places.
