WE CAME ACROSS A SITUATION WHERE WE WERE REQUIRED TO VALIDATE THE SIGNALS COMING UPTO SCADA FROM A TRANSFORMER PROTECTION RELAY (ON HV SIDE).THE INTERTRIPPING OF TRANSFORMER WAS PROGRAMMED TO OCCUR VIA GOOSE FROM HV SIDE PROTECTION RELAYS TO MV SIDE BCU. NOW AS THE INTERTRIPPING WAS FROM GOOSE, WE HAD TO PUT "OFF" THE GOOSE BIN RECEIVE BLOCK OF THE MV SIDE BCU SO AS TO AVOID TRIPPING WHILE TESTING THE RELAY AND VALIDATING THE SIGNALS. THE BCU WAS OF ABB. I WANT TO KNOW WHETHER SUCH PROVISION EXISTS FOR SIEMENS/ AREVA/SCHENEIDER/ALSTOM RELAYS/BCUSs. OR YOU CAN SUGGEST ANY OTHER WAY OF DOING SO.
