Final Thoughts

Let's Build a Web

With two issues of PAC World already on your desk and the rich content you can find on the web site I guess you realize that we are trying to provide you with a wide range of information that will keep you up to date on what is going on in our industry.

At the same time you can read the thoughts of your colleagues on subjects of interest or their comments on recent events.

To keep this going we need to build a web that can feel the pulse of our industry and capture events that occur in locations anywhere in the world. I have no doubt that you, as experts in the world of protection, automation and control can make a simple analogy between our task and a modern substation protection and automation system. It requires multiple devices that interface with the process and report to the upper layers of the functional hierarchy through the communications links.

So this is now our goal - to build the PAC World Web. This should have an open architecture, i.e. anyone can join. You and your colleagues and friends can organize any way you want - the important thing is to be able to submit to PAC World the information about the things you've learned, the questions you have, interesting news you read, or anything else that might be of interest to the magazine readers around the world.
