Pac World is the best magazine I have read covering the subjects of protection, automation and control. It is not often I read magazines cover to cover.

PAC World: Dear Ian,
Thank you very much for the nice words. Makes us feel good that all the hard work is worth it.

PAC World: Thank you, Luis for the information. It will be nice if you or someone else will volunteer to prepare a summary of the report that we can publish in the September 2010 issue of the magazine. If anyone is interested, please send an e-mail to editor@pacw.org.
My name is Ian Riensche, member of the Western Protective Relay Conference Committee, and protection engineer at Tacoma Power in Tacoma, Washington, USA.
I am also the Sudoku editor for two newspapers. I would like to submit a very challenging Sudoku puzzle for possible inclusion in the
next issue of PAC World magazine. This puzzle is my creation and rates very high on the difficulty scale; as such, I think it would be an enjoyable challenge to your readers.
