Dylan L.P. Jenkins received his Bachelor of Engineering with first class honors from the University of Auckland New Zealand.  He is currently employed as an Electrical Protection and Control Systems Engineer at Vector, New Zealand’s largest electricity distribution company. Prior to this role Dylan held a number of roles within Vector’s Asset Management, Project Engineering and Capital Delivery teams as a Graduate and Student Engineer.

Nirmal-Kumar C Nair received his BE in E.E. from M.S. University, Baroda, India and ME in E.E with specialization of High Voltage Engineering from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore, India. He received his Ph.D. in E.E. from Texas A&M University, College Station, USA.  He has held several teaching and research positions in India, USA and New Zealand. Presently, he is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Electrical & Computer Engineering in the University of Auckland, New Zealand. Dr. Nair was recently Chair of IEEE New Zealand North Section and currently the NZ North IEEE PES/PELS Joint Chapter Chair and its Students Activities Chair. He is the Vice-Chair of IEEE PES Life Long Learning Subcommittee. He is also currently the Observer Member for  the New Zealand in CIGRE B5 SC on Protection and Automation.
