2nd Annual Canada Protection Symposium

The event took place at The Westin Harbour Castle hotel in Toronto, Canada, 5-6 December, 2017.
The conference was preceded by a Welcome Reception and a technical tour sponsored by G&W Canada at their 220,000 square foot facility in Brampton, Ontario.

The symposium was organized with no parallel sessions, which allows the participants to be present at all paper presentations. Bing Young, Vice President at Hydro One was the keynote speaker.
More than 20 speakers from utilities, manufacturers, and service providers presented the latest topics in protection, automation, and control. Each presentation was followed by discussions.
The first day of the symposium ended with an Ask the Experts Panel Discussion on Industry Trends.

The topics covered can be summarized in the following categories:

The Ask the Experts Panel Discussion on Industry Trends gave an opportunity to the participants to have a lively discussion on topics of interest with top level industry experts.
