ELECRAMA was held 18 - 22 January 2012 at the Bombay Exhibition Center in Mumbai.

ELECRAMA, the world's largest electrical Transmission and Distribution exhibition held biennially in Mumbai, India has grown to be the world's largest one-stop-shop for electrical and industrial electronics. The 2012 event was organized by the Indian Electrical & Electronics Manufacturers' Association (IEEMA).  Founded in 1948, IEEMA has a pan India presence with its headquarters in Mumbai and regional offices in New Delhi, Kolkata and Bangalore.

ELECRAMA  is the perfect launch vehicle to introduce latest products and technology. The exhibition is organized in multiple pavilions spread over a large area and mostly grouped by industry domain, as well as by country.  ELECRAMA visitors represent a wide range of industry stakeholders, offering them an opportunity to display their latest products and discuss their specifications and applications with key customers, such as representatives of private and public T&D utilities, consultants, members of the government and policy makers. It also brings together global industry leaders in the electrical transmission and distribution sector with engineering professionals and academia.

  • During the Utility Day forum members from leading global utilities and leaders in the electricity distribution community shared experiences and discussed new technologies and developments in power quality management, distributed energy management models, enhanced SCADA solutions, etc.
  • The Industry Day provided a forum to CEOs of the industry to discuss the roadmap for enhancing the competitiveness of the Indian electrical equipment manufacturing industry
  • The Innovation day was designed to engage engineering students and the teaching community, and to show them the importance of the energy sector in general and the electrical & electronics sector in particular
