New IEEE PES Corporate Engagement Participants

During a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) signing ceremony at the IEEE PES General Meeting in Atlanta, GA, USA on 5 August 2019 the IEEE Power & Energy Society (PES) proudly welcomed three new Corporate Engagement Participants: Commonwealth Edison Company (ComEd), Quanta Technology LLC and Vermont Electric Power Company (VELCO).
The IEEE PES Corporate Engagement Program is a worldwide program intended to engage the industry organizations in IEEE PES activities in a formal way. This helps facilitate the involvement of corporate employees and leaders with IEEE PES activities, membership and programs.

By actively engaging in IEEE PES through the IEEE Corporate Engagement Program, corporations can stay up to date and participate in the work on the latest advances in the power industry including:

  • Renewable energy system design and integration
  • Smart - grid technologies
  • Electric vehicles
  • Wholesale market design and operation
  • Asset management
