In synergy with the S1 PC tool, the user answers a few questions to choose the latest applicable full model number, which then allows the configuration and setting workflow to continue.
The selector application is refreshed with the latest Alstom Grid releases, from the P40 Agile overcurrent/voltage and feeder devices, to the latest modular MiCOM P40 relays from Alstom with the third generation of CPU processing (CPU3). 

CPU3 reinvigorates the platform, extending new suffix M models of P540 to offer neutral differential, NERC-compliant passwording, and 25% reduced line CT dimensioning.
