UCA International Users Group (UCAIug) was incorporated in 2001 as a not-for-profit users group. Initially the focus was on supporting IEC61850 and substation automation. The UCAIug as well as its member groups (CIM, Open Smart Grid, and IEC61850) draws its membership from utility user, supplier, integrator, universities, consulting companies and individuals. Our User Communities are led by the industry leaders and conveners of standards working groups and are responsible for revising and implementing standards roadmaps. Members evaluate technical issues for the revision of each of the standards supported by the various Users Communities. More
