Biography:

Andrei Malkov graduated from Ivanovo Energy Institute in 1959 and started there his career in the Electric Power Stations department. In 1960 he moved to Cheboksary thermal power station, later leading the commissioning of two turbo generators and becoming manager of the electric lab. From 1965 to 1969 he worked in Egypt on the commissioning of protection, automation and control systems. In 1971 he became manager of the electric lab at Kiev TPS-5 (thermal power station). In 1972 he moved to the protection department of the United Dispatch Center South, where he worked until his retirement in 2001 as the manager of the protection and control department. For his work he received several government awards and medals. Since 2001 he works as a consultant at Aniger.
