SOC-E simplifies digital substation equipment design with its integrated SMARTzynq solution. It is a pluggable System-on-Module (SoM) designed to streamline the implementation of custom-made Ethernet networking designs. It is built on the AMD/Xilinx Zynq-7000 System-on-Programmable Chip (SoPC). By pairing the SMARTzynq module with industry-leading redundancy (HSR/PRP/RSTP) and synchronization (PTP) IP cores, SOC-E delivers a complete “engine” for Stand-Alone Merging Units (SAMUs) and protection relays.
