GE Vernova’s MU360 is a Process Interface Unit (PIU) with analog and binary interfaces for full switchyard modelling, control and digitization using IEC 61850 and IEC 61869 standards and protocols such as Sampled Values (SV), GOOSE, MMS and IEEE PTP. MU360’s hardware and acquisition meets IEC 61869-13 and supports up to 14 flexible slots for analog acquisition (two CT/VT – protection or metering), transducer inputs, and binary I/O, including high speed high break contact outputs. MU360 supports up to four IEC 61869-9/IEC 61850-9-2 compliant Sampled Value streams for protection (80 s/c) and metering (256 s/c). MU360 has up to five SFP interfaces with PRP/HSR redundancy protocols. MU360 supports simulated Sampled Values and test modes controllable per Logical Device.
