Farrokh Aminifar

Farrokh Aminifar received B.Sc. from Iran University of Science and Technology, Tehran, Iran, and M.Sc. and Ph.D. from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, all in electrical engineering. He is a Senior Advisor at Quanta Technology, LLC.
Farrokh loves nature and in his leisure time he likes hiking. In the picture – Farrokh in Muir Woods National Monument.

Anick Pomerleau

Anick Pomerleau is an Automation Engineer in the Remedial Action Schemes team at Hydro-Quebec. She has been working in the energy sector and with utilities for over 20 years. Her past experiences include embedded systems software development and project management for SCADA and automation system replacements. Anick completed a bachelor’s degree in computer engineering from École Polytechnique de Montréal in 1998, graduating with honors, as well as a Specialized Graduate Diploma (DESS) in Engineering Management from Université de Sherbrooke. She is a Registered Professional Engineer in the province of Quebec.
Anick really enjoy being outside. The picture is from a bike ride, which is a big part of what she does when the weather permits.

Simeon “Jet” Rodriguez

Simeon “Jet” Rodriguez is a seasoned electrical engineer with nearly two decades at Southern California Edison (SCE). He holds a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and a Certificate in Power Systems from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Jet began his career at SCE as a Distribution Standards Engineer, later becoming a Substation Projects Engineer, Compliance Engineer, and various Engineering Manager roles. He has led digital transformation efforts, enhanced substation metrics, and championed a new engineering promotion tool. Currently, Jet is the Engineering Manager for Protection Engineering – RAS/CRAS & Automation, leading SCE’s automation programs and process mapping efforts.

Jet loves nature and enjoys spending leisure time outdoors.

Emil Hillberg

Dr. Emil Hillberg received his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering in 2002 and 2016, from the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) and the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU), respectively. Emil has over twenty years working experience within the power system area, including positions at ABB, SINTEF, STRI, and since 2018 at RISE Research Institutes of Sweden. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and an active contributing member of the CIGRE community in the roles as: Swedish National Committee Member; Study Committee C2 Representative; and Convenor of Joint Working Group C2/B5.46 System Integrity Protection Schemes and the (N-1) criteria.
Emil enjoys spending quality time at sea. Being the son of a fisherman that’s his favorite place to be.
