Milan Jankovski

Milan Jankovski (born 1996, Skopje, Republic of Macedonia) earned his BSc in Electrical Engineering from Ss. Cyril and Methodius University in Skopje in 2019 and his MSc (cum laude) from TU Delft in 2022. He then joined Stedin as a protection engineer, focusing on PAC configuration and testing, as well as short-circuit studies. In 2024, he began an industrial PhD with Stedin and TU Delft, researching protection concepts for future distribution grids with a heavy influence from renewables. He is an active member of CIGRE B5 Netherlands. His main interests include protection studies, renewables, power system analysis, and PAC systems.

Outside of work, Milan loves to travel, explore new places, and hit the basketball court.

Joao Jorge 

Joao Jorge is an Electrical Engineer, specialist in Power Systems Protection, Control, Communica¬tion, Automation & Testing Solutions, acting as IEC 61850 Regional Application Specialist for OMICRON Electronics Latinoamerica; has a postgraduate degree in Electrical Systems Protection and is pursuing a postgraduate degree on Cyber Security. Active member of Cigre Brazil Study Committee B5

Joao loves traveling and exploring. In his spare time, he enjoys sightseeing.

Wayne Hartmann

Wayne Hartmann is Advanced Applications Advisor for GE VERNOVA, Grid Automation.  He explores the application of new technologies in P&C with Electric Utilities, Industrials and Consultants. He provides market research, ideation for new product development and supports the Sales and Application Teams. Wayne was in Standards Development at Duke Energy, and in Application, Sales and Marketing Management capacities at Beckwith Electric, PowerSecure, GE, Siemens Power T&D and Alstom T&D.   Wayne is a Life Senior Member of IEEE and has served as a Main Committee Member of the PSRC for over 30 years, contributing to Standards, Guides, Reports and Tutorials.

In his spare time Wayne loves playing music.

Pankaj Kumar Jha

Pankaj is a senior power system professional with over 14 years of experience in control and protection engineering, secondary systems, and transmission network resilience. He works with POWERGRID, India where he has been deeply involved in the engineering, commissioning, and modernization of EHVAC and FACTS systems up to 765 kV. His area of expertise includes power system protection, post-fault analysis, IEC 61850–based substation automation, renewable energy integration, Digital Substations and grid code compliance. He is a Senior Member of IEEE and an active member of IET (UK) and CIGRE. He has contributed extensively to international technical literature through papers presented at CIGRE, DPSP, and global conferences across Europe, Australia, and Asia. His work focuses on real-world protection challenges in renewable energy–rich grids, system integrity protection schemes (SIPS), and lessons learned from large-scale utility operations.

Pamkaj loves nature and in his leisure time he enjoys beautiful scenery.
