CIGRE are introducing the Innovation and Education Fund, a global program providing grants for electricity research, scholarship and education initiatives for the energy transitions. CIGRE are committed to invest in the future of the power system. The goal is to fund projects and programs to advance the global future for the energy transition and the emergence of electricity in every facet of society.
Grants can be received by Research and development projects and programs and potential funding of graduate’s scholarships within those initiatives. Educational projects and programs focusing on future growth for power system expertise in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics can also be funded. Humanitarian projects and programs to enable sustainable electricity for all are also within the scope.
