The Philip Sporn Award was established by the CIGRE US National Committee to recognize industry leaders “For cumulative career contributions to the advancement of the concept of system integration in the theory, design and/or operation of large, high voltage electric systems in the United States.”
Dr. Damir Novosel is the 2023 recipient of this prestigious award which was presented to him at the annual CIGRE USNC meeting.
Dr. Novosel is the President and founder of Quanta Technology.
He is a member of the CIGRE US National Committee and has already received the CIGRE Attwood Associate and the Distinguished Member awards.
