Efficient Motor Bus Transfer Scheme Testing

In Main-Tie-Main or Main-Auxiliary schemes, automatic bus transfer systems transfer critical loads to an alternate power source upon the loss of the normal source, protecting affected equipment and minimizing the effects of the power loss.  

Based on the system voltage and phase angle status and voltage and frequency decay of the affected bus, automatic bus transfer systems select the transfer method (fast, in-phase, or residual) and execute a transfer to the alternate power source.  

With RelaySImTest 4.1, multiple realistic scenarios can be created and used to verify the bus transfer system installation, design, and operation, including bus coast down under various pre-fault and fault conditions.
