Dr. Alexander Apostolov is the 2022 recipient of the CIGRE U.S. National Committee’s Dale Douglass Award for Technical Advancement “for leadership and participation in CIGRE technical activities internationally at the Study Committee or Working Group levels aspiring to the level of dedication exhibited by Dale Douglass.”
Alex is the Editor-in-chief of the PAC World magazine and Principal engineer at OMICRON electronics. He has more than 45 years of experience in protection, automation and control. He is IEEE Life Fellow and Distinguished member of CIGRE. He has been involved in CIGRE technical activities for more than 20 years as a member of multiple working groups and Convener of four working groups related to Study Committee B5 Protection and automation.
