Dr. Damir Novosel is the 2022 recipient of the IEEE PES Patrick P. Ryan Meritorious Service Award “for leadership and service to the IEEE Power & Energy Society”. This award is named in memory of Patrick P. Ryan who served as PES Executive Director from 2007 to 2020.
Damir is president and founder of Quanta Technology. Previously, he was Vice-president of ABB Automation Products and president of KEMA T&D US. He is member of the US National Academy of Engineers and IEEE Fellow, served as President of the IEEE Power and Energy Society, VP of Technical Activities and many other roles.
