A few years ago, the challenge was developing reliable and robust technologies and incorporating them into substation equipment. Nowadays, HSR/PRP and PTP technologies have been deployed in substations, and the challenge is to provide the devices with monitoring and security mechanisms that protect them from external threats.
In response to these needs, RELYUM has launched 21.1 RELY-SEC version, that includes all the features demanded by utilities:
- Monitoring: SNMPv3, syslog to partition and remote server, BIST, diagnostic information export.
- Security: SSH, HTTPS, role access control, password quality, authentication retries control, SSH/Web session timeout, unused ports/protocols blocking, IP address restriction capability, 802.1X, DoS attacks protection, firewall/VPN, remote secure upgrades.
