2019 SASG was held from 10 to 12 December 2019 at the Ritz Carlton Hotel in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia.
This conference is one of the region’s leading events and offers experts from the electric power industry a unique platform to share their views on emerging technologies and discuss sustainable solutions related to the integration of renewable energy resources in the grid.
The theme of the conference was “Grid of the Future” focusing the discussions on several groups of topics:
- Smart Generation: High Efficiency, Renewable Energy, IPP
- Smart Transmission: Advanced System Planning and Operation
- Smart Distribution: Smat Meters , Demand Side Management
- Internet of Things (IoT), Communications and Automation Technologies
Bandar Allaf, the chairman of SASG stated at the opening ceremony of the conference that more than 204 scientific papers from around 25 countries of the world were submitted at the conference.
An exhibition was held within the conference venue.
The conference was preceded by nine specialized workshops addressing issues such as cyber security and Internet of Things (IoT).
